SmashCake information

SmashCakes are made using lollies and chocolates, so you don’t need to worry about them going bad. Leave your SmashCake in its box until you’re ready to smash. Keep it in a cool dry area out of the sun. Do not put it in the fridge as the lollies will go sticky. If it’s a hot day you can pop it in the fridge for half an hour before smashing.

Delivery and pickup

At Smashed Piñata Cakes we have options for pick up from St Kilda East or delivery. For pick up please add in a time slot at checkout.

We use an in-house courier company as our SmashCakes are delicate and require special care. Each delivery is booked as a single trip straight to your location.

What’s inside your SmashCake?

Our SmashCakes are made with Belgian chocolate. The piñata mix is a huge amount of mixed lollies. This includes Allen’s Retro and Classic Party Mix, freckles and Cadbury Fresha Party Mix. All SmashCakes come with a wooden mallet to smash your cake.

Custom orders

Smashed Piñata Cakes can create a spectacular one-of-a-kind SmashCakes. Custom cakes are a unique piece of art! It's what has made Smashed Piñata Cakes famous. Whether you have something specific in mind or want to give creative licence to our decorator, a custom cake will provide the WOW factor. You name it, we can do it! Let us know what you would like, and we would be happy to quote and create it for you.

Interstate orders

We are based in St Kilda East, Melbourne. We have not yet found a way to transport our SmashCakes interstate unless you travel with them in your hand luggage on a plane. So apologies to those of you that would like to order one of our SmashCakes if you don’t live in Melbourne.
